In a sign that book publishing has entered the Snapchat era, Patterson has partnered with a creative agency to put out what is being billed as the “world’s first” self-destructing book
One thousand readers will have the opportunity to get a free digital copy of Patterson’s new book, Private Vegas, which will vanish after 24 hours. Patterson is also selling one copy of the self-destructing book for $294,038 — though that includes a private trip and five-course meal with the author.
